From watching friends play with <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/FL_Studio\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"xLink\">Fruity Loops<\/a> in college to seeing an ex-roommate perform a live looping concert for New Years last year, I&#8217;ve become increasingly interested in the magic of looping.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to one of my favorite bloggers, Eliot Van Buskirk of the <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.wired.com\/music\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"xLink\">Listening Post<\/a>, I discovered this video of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidford.mu\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"xLink\">David Ford<\/a>, in which he records his song &#8220;Go To Hell&#8221; &#8211; in one take &#8211; using looping and household kitchen appliances, in addition to instruments and a microphone. Badass.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" class=\"youtube-player\" type=\"text\/html\" width=\"425\" height=\"344\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/NVky7hwuebU?wmode=transparent&amp;fs=1&amp;hl=en&amp;modestbranding=1&amp;iv_load_policy=3&amp;showsearch=0&amp;rel=1&amp;theme=dark\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>A perfect example of the modern multi-instrumental recording artist looking for creative new ways to make music. He would do well as a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mixmatchmusic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"xLink\">MixMatchArtist<\/a>.
